Pets are essential members of the family. When it comes to unconditional love they're tops, filling our lives with that extra bit of support and loyalty. But few people have so singularly demonstrated their love for a pet as Latasha Amendariz of San Antonio. The story of her quest to find her beloved English Bulldog, Pork Chop, is a heartwarming lesson in family values.

When Pork Chop went missing, Latasha posted a $500 reward for the person who managed to find and retrieve him, showing early on that she was willing to part with a great deal to bring Pork Chop back home. There was no response, so she raised the bar and offered out the Ford Mustang that she had painstakingly detailed herself and just recently managed to pay off. It was an offer above and beyond the call of duty, and it met with a quick response: Pork Chop turned up with the man who'd found him almost immediately thereafter!

With this gesture, Latasha taught her kids the value of putting family first. Her story was picked up by several TV news stations, and naturally it resonated with people around the country, including people at Armor All®. We were moved by Latasha's selflessness, and we thought what better to reward her gesture than to directly return the favor.

So, we bought her a Ford Mustang convertible, and we're providing her a year's worth of Armor All® products to let her continue taking pride in her car. And to be fair, we made sure Pork Chop had a goodie basket for himself. (Included is a micro-chip in case he ever gets lost again!)

Armor All® PR representative David Kellis flew out to San Antonio to personally give the Ford Mustang to Latasha and her family. The event was covered live on TV in San Antonio!

We think Pork Chop's story is one for the ages, and he's become a bit of an icon in the Armor All® world. So too has Latasha for her unmatched generosity. After all, great deeds should be celebrated.
